The date for this year's cycle ride is on September 11, 2022.

Route

The route is 55 miles long and, as the name suggests, runs from London to Brighton. You will pass through quiet country lanes in Mitcham, Carshalton,Chipstead,Bansteadand Haywards Heath.

Then, you will travel through the mile-long climb up Ditchling Beacon. You will climb to the top of South Downs,which boasts amazing views.You'll be able to have a water break when you stop there.

Along the way you'll be treated with water stops, mechanical support, pre-event support and the opportunity to meet other cyclists. If you're nervous about finding the way, there's no need to worry as the route is fully sign-posted, meaning that you won't need a map.

And if in doubt, follow the huge procession of panting cyclists.
