A spokesperson for The Sculpture Park, in法纳姆, said the measure will help to create a more peaceful and calm atmosphere. While the park is reducing numbers, all visitors are still allowed, young or old. Dogs are allowed as long as they are on a short lead.
The price increase is the first since April 2015 and tickets must be pre-booked online via the website. You could spend anywhere between two hours to most of the day at the park, with picnics being welcome. There's also a pub opposite, which you're allowed to go to and re-enter the park afterwards.
The park made the decision after increasing numbers following the pandemic. A spokesperson said that at the start of the pandemic, the park was completely empty for weeks during lockdown, but when restrictions eased, they started to achieve record numbers again.
