The incident caused severe delays through the area as traffic built up as a result of the crash.
Inrix,the travel updates service,says: "One lane closed and queueing traffic due to accident,lorry and three cars involved on M25 anticlockwise after J11 A320 St Peters Way (Chertsey).
"Lane four (of four) is closed."
Highways England added that the vehicles were "stationary in lane four" and traffic officers were on their way to the scene.
