Surrey and 亚搏娱乐官网Hampshire may not be done with the wet and thundery weather just yet as another Met Office weather warning has been issued for Sunday and Monday,June 23 and 24.
The yellow warning for thunderstorms,which covers the entirety of both counties,will be in force from 3pm on Sunday until 11.59pm on Monday.
The Met Office website warns of a risk of torrential rain,lightning and even possible flooding and travel disruption.
However it is not all doom and gloom weather wise asthe area is actually expected to see an improvement in the weatherbetween now and Sunday.
The current weather forecast for London and the South East suggest temperatures of above 20°C on both Friday (June 21) and Saturday (June 22).
Providing more detail on the yellow warning for Sunday and Monday the Met Office website states that residents should be aware of a small chance of property flooding and possible building damage due to floodwater,lightning,hail or strong winds.
It also warns of a small chance of power cuts and likely difficult driving conditions due to spray.
It is the second thunderstorm weather warningto be issued for Surrey and 亚搏娱乐官网Hampshire in the last week after a warning was also in place between 6pm on Tuesday (June 18) and 9pm on Wednesday (June 19).
